Heritage family Padron began more than 125 years ago, the head of the family Damaso Padronem. Its plantations in Pinar del Rio region, produced the world's best known tobacco. In the year 1964 Jose Padron opened his shop in Miami, that we now know as Padron Cigars. He and his family began to grow tobacco in Nicaragua where the climate and the soil perfectly similar to the Cuban. The company moved to Nicaragua in 1970. Their perseverance and vision has paid off. In the 1990s the company started to produce a special series of cigars and thus has gained commercial success. It is worth mentioning especially Serie 1926, Serie 9 or Serie 1964.
